Fifth Grade Colonial Day
Friday, April 27 2018
The fifth graders will spend the day dressed in colonial dress, doing colonial activities and celebrating the end of their unit of study about colonial times. Parent volunteers will help run the stations and dress up as well!:)
Bring Finger foods for the special Tea. Please prepare enough for the entire 5th grade and drop off that day by 12:30pm (morning is also fine). Small tea cakes, sandwiches etc.

1Adult needed to help the students at the Calligraphy station. All supplies will be supplied by the teachers

1 Adult needed to lead colonial games. Game ideas will be provided and decided upon by the volunteers.

1 Adult needed to lead the students in embroidery. Embroidery floss and fabric will be provided

1-2 adults needed to lead the students in lantern making. This involves using hammers and nails and tin cans to create punch art.
2 Adults needed to set up the think tank with tables and table cloths and prepare tea and arrange finger foods. Tea and finger foods provided by other parents.
