Sea Crest School

The Butterfly Joint is a woodworking and design studio in the Misson District of San Francisco, designed just for children. You can watch a brief video with more information about the studio here: https://vimeo.com/184400582

On January 12th, we'll leave just after drop-off and drive to the Mission District of San Francisco. We'll meet in a parking lot about a block away from the Butterfly Joint and walk together to the studio. Once there, the children will eat snack, take a tour, and have the full woodshop experience. They'll cut, sand, and oil wooden blocks, which we'll take back to the classroom with us when we're done. Next, we'll walk six blocks to Dolores Park to eat lunch and play. At the end of our play time, parent drivers will walk back to the parking lot to collect cars, then return to the park to pick up the children and head home. We're looking forward to this trip!
