Open House

Open House is Concordia's largest recruitment day of the year. We expect 500 plus guest to walk through our doors to tour and get more information about our campus and potentially attend our university. We are looking for energetic volunteers to showcase our campus for the day by welcoming them at the door, entering them for prizes and providing campus tours for prospective students and their families.
Hand out packages to Prospective students (not parents) and Count all visitors (including parents)
Have prospective students fill our prize ballot and ask if they have preregistered. If they have, highlight their name and they will be entered into an additional draw that will happen on Monday.
Direct traffic ask guests to fill out exit surveys before they leave.
Make and distribute free popcorn to our guest
Assist where needed, answering questions, directing traffic, helping visitors find labs and the auditorium. You will also be asked to cover breaks for multiple positions.
If any of our guest would like to apply to our university, walk them to the lab where admissions advisors will be there to assist them.
Tours leave every 15 minutes in front of the Bookstore. Please have tours no larger than 7 – 10 people. The tour will end in the Science department, leave people that would like to view the science labs and return anyone who does not want to stay to Tegler.
*Must complete "Concordia Tour Training"
