Concordia Student Volunteers

ThunderFest will be taking place on Friday, September 18 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and we will have two shifts available for students to choose from:

Shift 1: 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Shift 2: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

For ThunderFest, we are looking at having a few float volunteers who can provide backup support in different areas throughout the day. Some of the tasks will include:

Registration table: Putting wristbands on students as they enter, handing out and collecting waivers for students to sign, and distributing meal tickets to students who present their student ID.

Alcohol ticket sales: Working at the entrance of the beer garden, checking government-issued ID alongside security to ensure students are 18+, and selling alcohol tickets using POS.

First aid support: We are currently looking for two additional volunteers who are first aid certified to assist from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Field Games: Helping with setup, assisting with coordinating the games, and participating in the games where needed to help students feel more comfortable joining in.

Bull riding ticket sales: Assisting with ticket sales using POS from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

The idea is to have a group of flexible volunteers who can move between areas where extra support is needed rather than assigning everyone to one specific position for the entire event.
