Trail Restoration Capstone Project

SCLA Senior Patrick Gibbs is doing a trail restoration project with Boulder County!
If you like working outside and making a difference for hiking trails- this project is for you!
People will be removing vegetation with shovels (the county will
provide gloves to all volunteers). They will also be using shovels to
move gravel from wheel barrows to the trail. They will then smooth the
trail with a curved piece of wood to get the desired shape of the
trail.
Bring water bottle, wear hiking boots, or tennis shoes, sunscreen, hat,
A bus will take you from SCHS to the trail site and bring you back to SCHS. Lunch will be provided.
8:30am - 3:30pm
Trail Restoration
Assist in the trail restoration in Boulder County. Lifting, shoveling and hard work- but worth it!!
