The Take Back Pharmaceutical event is on October 29th from 10 AM- 2 PM. Partnered with the Longmont Police Department and the DEA, we all hope to decrease the number of medications that get flushed down the drain and thrown into the garbage by providing an accessible drop-off event. The event is where people can drive by with their unused or expired medicines in which the police will take them and put them into a safe storage bin for the DEA to come to pick up. The event will be held at the Longmont Public Safety Department (225 Kimbark St. Longmont CO). Coordinated by my capstone project, Operation Take Back, I will need volunteers during the event to help direct traffic with posters (I will provide them), help me give out goody bags for the first 100 people, help me put together the goody bags before the event (TBD; Ms. Robin will let me know when the materials for the goody bags have arrived and then I can determine when to schedule this), and clean up the event afterward.

Set up and help with distributing goody bags to the first 100 people (2 people). You will be able to leave as soon as all the goodie bags are given away.
