Silver Creek Leadership Academy

Thank you for volunteering to help with our production of Spamalot as an usher. We are grateful to welcome you to our cast! We are glad to give you a complimentary ticket for another show, as long as comp seats are available.

Before the Show Starts
Arrive one hour prior to the start of the show
Attire is black pants (no sweats) and a black top
Two students work the table to scan in tickets as folks arrive
Two students hand out programs as people enter the auditorium
One more student is available to help wheelchair patrons to the wheelchair seating areas and point to where the bathrooms are located.

At intermission
Open and prop the doors to the crescent at the rear of the hall.
Two or more students help a volunteer parent to sell concessions in the crescent.
When intermission almost over make an announcement that the second act will resume in 5 minutes (intermission is 15 minutes)
One student block audience members from exiting through the side/hallway door into the A-Wing as that is our backstage area.
Close the doors as the second act is about to start
Count concession money and return un-sold concession items to the A-Wing office and lock the doors. (a parent will help with this)

At the end of the show
Prop the doors open
Stand at the exits with bins to reuse the programs for the next shows.
Some will want to keep programs as a memento
Don’t need to do collect programs following the final performance.
