Anyone interested in aviation, STEM, or military service should attend the 2019 Longmont Military Airport Expo, a completely free aviation career fair at the Longmont Airport on April 20th from 10 to 2.

The focus of the event is on careers in aviation, specifically military aviation. As of now, the event will feature military recruiters from all branches, the FAA, Civil Air Patrol, drones, an Air Force Huey helicopter, a civilian medevac helicopter, and a parachute demonstration. Hands on activities and contests will also be available.

The event is open to all students, pre-K through 12, and their families.

This project is Silver Creek High School senior Jack Moroney's capstone project. Jack will be attending the United States Naval Academy this summer with the goal of someday becoming a pilot.

His goal for the project is to show the great careers available in military and civilian aviation. Parking is located on the north side of the airport and indicated by signs.
