As the host school for the annual Lunar New Year event, SCLA plays an integral part of the event- come help advertise the upcoming Lunar New Year (Sat. Jan 30th 2027) 

 

SCLAers can dress in authentic asian attire or martial arts attire if you have it, if not, wear your PINK SCLA VOLUNTEER SHIRT.  

If you don't have a pink volunteer shirt- message MS. A.

The BOULDER COUNTY FAIR PARADE is fast approaching and we need your help in representing the Asian-Pacific Association of Longmont in this countywide event. Please let us know if you are able to attend and march with us in the parade, and feel free to dress up in ethnic clothing (including martial arts) and bring props. We are also looking for student volunteers to give out bookmarks along the parade route. They will receive volunteer credit as Crowd Ambassadors.
Parade Information:Date: Saturday, August 1stLocation: Roosevelt Park, LongmontTime: Parade begins at 10:00 but we need to be ready at 9:30 sharp! Check in begins as early as 8:00amMore information will be available as we get closer.
