NOTE FROM JOHN GALLOGLY:

Perhaps our best opportunity to meet our neighbors who might never have attended a production at Theatre West, is ELECTION DAY.

We anticipate 500-600 locals will show up to vote on November 8.

For the primaries, we had a table outside where we offered cookies and water, and we aggressively courted voters as they left with materials for Storybook and mainstage shows. It's a great way to meet civically conscious neighbors and share the excitement of election day with them while celebrating them for taking the time to VOTE. The neighbors LOVED it.

No electioneering or Party promotion is allowed.

We need volunteers, starting early in the morning and going until 8 pm to hand out water, cookies, marketing materials, and -- if the lines are long because the ballot sure is -- sympathy.

But, most mportant to say THANK YOU for voting... now Elect the Arts!

Associates and New members can get credit for their hours. Everyone else -- it's your theatre, this is a way to make sure it succeeds.
