Eclipse Event at the Armstrong Air & Space Museum (Registration Closed)

The Armstrong Air & Space Museum will be hosting an Eclipse viewing event starting at 9:00 AM. The public are welcome to find their spot across the outdoor lawn to view the eclipse. The Museum will have an outdoor store to purchase eclipse glasses and other eclipse merchandise, a DJ playing music and making announcements as the event happens, and snack vendors. The museum will be open from 9:00 AM-7:00 PM on Monday 08 April 2024.
The Museum is in need of volunteers to assist with parking, indoor security, wrist band checkers, and store runners. If you sign up in track it forward please contact Chris as well via email to receive parking pass and map information with event details.
Although we list 7:30 AM-4:30 PM for a shift we will accept volunteers for what they are able to work. Just inform when you are signing up with Chris. The Eclipse totality begins at 3:06 PM and lasts about 4 minutes in our area. The eclipse will begin around 1:50 PM and go to about 4:25 PM. The event is weather dependent and outdoor happenings can be cancelled if there is an inclement weather event.
