Community Meals

During the school year, we take a number of students to the Next Step Shelter, a transitional shelter in Kaka’ako. The primary purpose of the community service opportunity is to provide the evening meal for the residents at Next Step, spur our students to reflection.
Volunteers can help with Meal Prep and/or Serve Meals. Transportation is provided but all are welcome to drive their own vehicle if they are able.
3:30pm - 5:00pm
Community Meal - Prep
Cooking Rice. Cutting Oranges. Prepping Utensils. Prepping Drinks. Picking up food from Aramark. Meet in the Mystical Rose Oratory.
5:30pm - 8:00pm
Community Meal
NEXT Step: Set-up, Serving Food/Drinks, Talking with Residents, Clean-up, Washing Dishes and putting supplies away. Meet in the Mystical Rose Oratory.
