Head of the Lagoon Regatta

Race Times: 9:00AM-1:00PM
Volunteer Times: 7:00AM-2:00PM
Directions to Foster City Lagoon:
From 101: Head east on Hwy. #92. Take Foster City Boulevard exit. Turn left at lights onto Metro Center Boulevard. Turn right at lights onto Foster City Boulevard. Turn right at lights onto East Hillsdale Boulevard. Turn left at next light onto Shell Boulevard.
Purchase supplies (from provided shopping list) at Costco during the week before the event. Note the list will be different/longer this year. Please be prepared to front the cost of the shop and be reimbursed. Deliver food to regatta or coordinate to have it go up with the trailer.
Drive the hospitality trailer from boathouse to regatta site either on Saturday or early Sunday. Must have vehicle with proper trailer hitch. Must ensure the trailer arrives before 6:30 am Sunday.
Load the trailer at the boathouse. In the shed there is a laminated instruction sheet of what to pack. Items include storage bins, tables, easy-ups, etc. Time is flexible.
Unload the trailer at the site and set up the tent, signs, equipment, etc.
For committed LGRC hospitality parent! Before the event, decide menu (with coach approval) and preview the shopping list. Day of the event, manage the preparation and serving of breakfast and lunch. Previous regatta hospitality experience required- please email rachelle@lopp.com for info before taking this position.
Prep breakfast/snacks and oversee fueling our athletes for the morning.
Clean up breakfast afterwards.
Prep lunch and oversee fueling our athletes for the afternoon. Clean up lunch after all rowers have finished racing and eating.
Take home all dirty dishes, wash them, and return them to the boathouse the following practice.
Thoroughly clean up everything. Break down tables, tents, etc. after lunch crew is finished. Load trailer. (Nothing dirty may be put in the trailer, please).
Unload trailer contents back to the shed on Monday. Time is flexible.
