Invasive plant removal

We will be removing invasive beach vitex from dune sites on Bald Head Island. If you enjoy weeding, this is the job for you! Specific locations to be determined. Meet at BHI Conservancy front porch at 10:00 AM to drive to sites. Volunteers should be comfortable working in the sun, using hand tools, stooping, digging, and carrying plant material. Please wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and sun protection (hat, sunscreen). We will provide work gloves and hand tools.
