Georgia Justice Project: Georgia Legislative Session Policy Tracking

Monday, January 15 2024

Project Description:
Georgia Justice Project (GJP) is seeking one to two student volunteers to help their policy team with tracking and/or summarizing non-GJP bills that are introduced during this legislative session. GJP does not advocate directly or publicly for or against these other bills, but the team wants to be aware of other bills that are moving. Some examples would be expanding cash bail, adding to mandatory minimums, etc.

This volunteer commitment is estimated to take 1-3 hours per week, and volunteers will be committed to this work every week through the end of this legislative session (late March). This work can be done remotely.

How to Sign Up:
1. If you are interested in this opportunity, please send a copy of your resume to Erin Donohue-Koehler (she/her) at erin@gjp.org. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Erin.
