Georgia Public Defender Council: Trial Discovery Review Project

Project Description:
The Chattahoochee Circuit Defender Office of the Georgia Public Defender Council (GPDC) is seeking one student to review discovery on a case likely to go to trial, with a focus on issue spotting and possible defenses. The volunteer will write a summary of findings including supporting statutes and case law, as well as a timeline of events and list of witnesses. This project will require an estimated 2 to 3 hours per week until the project is done for an estimated total of 10 hours over the span of 3 to 5 weeks, and it can be done remotely.

To sign up, you need to be at least a 2L who has complete the Criminal Law course. RSVP below! We will connect you with GPDC to get started.
