Please join us to assist individuals with their Legal Name and/or Gender Marker Change (LNGMC) petition. Your time will help transgender and gender nonconforming clinic attendees who regularly face accessibility barriers because their identity documents incorrectly describe them as someone else. Volunteers will receive an hour of training before meeting one-on-one with a client to complete and intake and a full petition. This opportunity is completely virtual, and will be supervised by Bet Tzedek staff. No prior experience is required, and anyone with the desire to learn and be respectful to our clients is welcome!
