Join the Volunteer Committee and UnitedWay in painting a playground at Bryan Smith Park! UnitedWay’s mission aligns closely with that of VCOM’s, where we aim to advocate for and work towards the betterment of the health, education, and financial stability of individuals in the community. By helping to paint the playground and helping UnitedWay with promoting the upkeep of the playground, we can help to encourage children and adults to spend more time outside. Further, we may help with picking up litter around the playground during the painting event.

This volunteer event will be held at Bryan Smith Park (424 Lee Street, West Monroe, LA) on Friday, May 3rd, from 9:00AM – 1:00PM. We ask that VCOM volunteers dress comfortably and bring water and sunscreen.
