VCOM Louisiana

Join the VCOM-Louisiana Volunteer Committee in helping United Way of Northeast Louisiana with their Medical IRT event. This event is being held in collaboration with the cities of Monroe and West Monroe, which have been able to secure Military Medical IRT training for our community.

On-site military groups will provide NO COST wellness, mental health, dental, and vision services to anyone in the region who attends the event.

Volunteers are needed to direct and guide the community in signing up and getting to the appropriate area when they arrive. There will also be volunteers who will work alongside the Children's Coalition in the children's area.

The mission of United Way aligns with VCOM in that we both aim to advocate for and work toward improving the health, education, and financial stability of individuals in the community. By greeting and checking in the client, we ensure that they are going to the right place for the care they require.

This volunteer event will be held at 2 different locations from August 4th – August 12th, 2023.
