Help the VCOM Volunteer Committee in creating an art cart for pediatric patients at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA. We have been working with St. Francis to create a new volunteer initiative within the hospital called the “art cart” which will comprise of a utility cart filled with small art supplies that will be distributed to pediatric patients being seen at the hospital. We hope to provide these donated supplies to children being seen at the hospital, that way they have something to do while waiting for procedures or trying to recover! Acceptable donation items include: small packs of Play-Doh, small packs of crayons (up to 24 count), small craft kits (ie: foam or wood craft kits), "kid-friendly" coloring books (different themes such as Marvel, animals, Disney, etc. encouraged). Please do not donate scissors or anything that could cause harm! We would like these items to assist children, the medically underserved, and to help spread the mission of VCOM.
