KRDP Community Radio

This is the second part of Radio Phoenix's programmer training class. Attendees will learn how to take an idea and develop it into a radio program; the tools that we use to produce a live program (i.e. broadcast clock, program log, live read scripts, Zara Radio, Spinitron, etc.); gain a refresher on the basics of studio production; learn how to properly conduct a radio interview; and observe a portion of a live broadcast; and end with a culminating project where they produce a segment of our weekly arts program "The Bungalow Show" (which will air on a later date).

Once attendees complete this class, they are eligible to produce programming for Radio Phoenix, including submitting a demo for a new program to be considered for addition to the station's schedule, if airtime is available.
