We have an opportunity to join other middle and high schoolers at Lagoon for Physics Day! What better way to put the physics knowledge you learned this year—acceleration, energy, friction, air resistance, fluid dynamics—into action for real-world applications with a truly fun twist.
Cost: The tickets are discounted to $54 for anyone who doesn't already have a pass. If this is a financial challenge, please email Mr. Harris as financial assistance is available. We will need 2 parents to attend as chaperones - parents will also need a pass or can pay the discounted price for entry.
Those attending will stay at Lagoon until late afternoon (exact time TBD) and will not be back for regular school pick up on Friday. The transportation plan is still in the works and might include riding on FrontRunner! Mr. Harris needs to get a count of how many kids will attend asap!
Please respond below with a YES or NO if your student will be able to Physics Day at Lagoon. Kids not attending Physics Day will get to participate in the Mayfair festivities at school.

Transportation: We have an option for the class to possibly ride up on UTA's FrontRunner and be shuttled over via bus to the Lagoon entrance (free of charge). This would mean parents/guardians would drop off and pick up at the FrontRunner station instead of at school (Murray Central Station 140 W. Vine St., Murray, UT). The other option would be for us to gather enough volunteer drivers to shuttle everyone up to Lagoon and coordinate getting everyone back. We think riding the FrontRunner up would be a fun experience for our kids, but we very much welcome your input.
