Your student will be bringing a lantern home next week (sometime before Thursday), which they have made in class.
They need to bring the lantern with them back to the school when you come to participate in the lantern walk.
There will be no access to the school building during the Lantern Walk, as this is an all-outdoor activity, so please plan accordingly (and dress warmly).
You will also need to bring matches or a lighter to light your lanterns, as the school will not be providing these items.
If you have students in preschool or kindergarten through 4th grade, and also have older students in the school, the older students can come along with your family.
This is a family activity, so students are not to be dropped off at schools by themselves; we ask that you come to the event as a family and keep your students with you.
