Harvest Festival Class Booth Details from Ms M:
Polaris class will be hosting a booth for the Harvest Festival this year! We have talked as a class, and we are very excited about this opportunity to earn some money for our 8th grade trip. We have decided to make giant pompons and playdough kits. We will also be selling singing telegrams which will consist of a small group of willing Polaris students who will deliver a live performance of a song to anyone at the festival for a small fee. There will be more details forthcoming, including a schedule for students to sign up for a time to come and help. In the meantime, we could use the following donations:
* Yarn - all varieties and colors. If you have spare yarn you will not be using, we would be happy to take it off your hands. The giant pompons take a lot of yarn to make, so we'll be happy to take as much as we can get!
* A 10x10 canopy - do you have a canopy we could borrow for the day? Please email me (Ms. M) directly if you do.
* 24 (two 12 packs) pint-sized mason jars with lids and bands for the playdough
* Small treasures for the playdough kits (nothing plastic, please) - shells, stones, gems, large beads (metal, wood, or glass), dried lavender or chamomile, dried flowers
Thank you in advance for your support and donations! We are so looking forward to the Harvest Festival!
