Redwood Class Mineralogy Meeting & Picnic

Hello Redwood Families! Let's gather together outside on one of the last beautiful days of the fall. Please join other Redwood class families and students for a mini-class and picnic! Miss Rachel will bring a rock, mineral, and fossil kit provided by the Department of Natural Resources, which contains 70 rock and mineral specimens. Some of these will be available to students to hold after using the hand sanitizer that will be provided. We will have a mini class based around these materials for the first half an hour.
Location: Evergreen Park behind the Millcreek Community Center: 2266 E Evergreen Ave, Salt Lake City, UT 84109 (meet at the picnic tables) We ask that if families choose to play on the play equipment, they wait until 12:30.
What to bring: A water bottle, masks, a picnic blanket, and a lunch
