May Day / Beltane Celebration

May 1st is May Day, Beltane & International Sunflower Guerrilla Gardening Day! Join us in a multi-garden celebration of nature and a full day of family friendly activities starting Sunnyside
10:30am - 12:30pm at the 45th Street Composters garden at with flower crown crafting, seedball making and refreshments.
12:30 - 2pm we will take the festivities to the streets to #SeedTheCity deploying seedbombs and sowing sunflower seeds in a jubilant procession to LIC
2-4pm at Smiling Hogshead Ranch we will continue the festivities with more kid friendly crafts, songs to awaken the plants and May Pole dancing.
Bring snacks to share, a full water bottle, sunscreen, etc.
