Help to Distribute 100 FREE Trees to NYC Residents!

The New York Restoration Project (NYRP) recommends that participating organizations have 8 volunteers available to help with distribution.* The NYRP will bring their own staff to train our volunteers on the morning of the giveaway. NYRP staff will check people in and help them choose a tree. We will be primarily responsible for retrieving the trees for their new owners.

If anyone is interested in representing the Ranch, we could run an info-booth on trees or have a self-paced “Earth Day” or tree-themed activity. This would also be a great opportunity to spread the word about our annual Spring Planting Day and May Day/International Sunflower Guerrilla Gardening Day the following week. These events tend to cast a wide net and draw folks from all over who have never heard of us.
