Weeding Prep day for CQ Haunted Trails (with Independent of Autism)

Join Charlotte's Quest Weed Warriors and Independent of Autism as we prepare for our second annual Haunted Woods Trail/ Family Fun Trail. On Saturday, October 8th we will be weeding along trail areas that will be used for the upcoming events, focusing on cleaning up the designated trails themselves and removing any invasive plants that are making their way into each trail in addition to cleaning up and trimming areas just outside of the trails that will be utilized for specific jump scares and installations. The time spent volunteering during this prep day can also be used for student learning hours if any volunteers are in need of them. If you or your family are interested in helping out for the 11:30am to 2pm shift (end time is approximate) please sign up here. Be sure to wear closed toed shoes, long sleeves, long pants, and work/ gardening gloves for his event. Please bring any gardening implements you feel comfortable using such as a spade/ trowel/ or gardening knife. If you do not bring these Charlotte's Quest will be able to provide them.
