Entiat Work Party - Location Tentative
Saturday, August 29 2026
We are officially in high fire watch in our area. Please be mindful of campfires, have a spark arrester on your bike (required), and be careful what your saw touches.
Entiat Work Party Announcement, location tentative depending on the work accomplished during the month of August. Likely Tyee Ridge or one of the Tommy trails.
I will serve dinner around 18:00-ish on Friday night.
We will have fuel, PPE, med kits, tread tools, saws, and all the necessary equipment in our MotoV Volunteer Trailer. If you're looking for particular experience from this work party, please let me know so we can ensure you're grouped with the appropriate people. If you plan to use a saw, please bring chaps or saw pants. Please note the elevation change if you need to calibrate any equipment.
Saturday morning, we will have lunches set out around 7:00 for you to make and pack (sandwiches, salty snacks, Gatorades, fruit, Mio, etc). Breakfast will be ready by 7:30. We will hold a safety talk during breakfast and then break into our crews. This crew will be led by NMA's Aaron Lindsey.
We usually start heading to the trail head around 8:00. If you have kiddos, we can load their bikes into a truck the night before and have them ride with someone so they don't have to road ride. Let's try not to make excessive noise in the morning so we don't wake other people enjoying the outdoors.
Dinner will be served when ya'll arrive back at camp.
Sunday, we will rinse and repeat.
