NMA log-out work party at Walker Valley - Sunday Dec. 28, 2025

The NMA is hosting a work party to work on extensive log-out at Walker Valley. Extreme weather in recent weeks has resulted in massive amounts of down trees and potentially some slides over the trails. An NMA Moto Volunteer trailer will be on-site with power tools, handtools, PPE, packs, water, etc. Volunteers are encouraged to also bring their favorite trail tools. Hamburgers and hotdogs afterwards for all volunteers.
Meet at the main trailhead on Peter Burns Road (please access from the north end) at 9:00, split into groups, get supplies and head out at 9:30.
We will be doing treadwork and log out near Peter Burns Road. We will drive down the road, then walk in to do this work, no motorcycle is required. If you want to ride your bike and do treadwork elsewhere in the trail system, we can set you up with tools and targeted locations.
