Make a Difference Day in Bidwell Park! Saturday, October 23rd (9 am to noon) volunteers will meet at the South 1 Mile Oak Grove Picnic area (just west of Sycamore Field, 300 South Park Drive map attached). The focus will be weeding and trimming. Closed-toe shoes required, long pants recommended. Bring gloves and tools such as shovels, clippers, loppers if possible, water and snacks. Please have a face mask available to wear and practice social distancing. Your RSVP to this event acknowledges that you have read, understand and agree to the terms as described in the attached City of Chico release of liability. In the event the participant is under 18 years of age, please print & complete the attached volunteer application & return to Shane Romain, Park Services Coordinator shane.romain@chicoca.gov or 530-896-7831. If you are interested in an event T- Shirt, please include your size and submit no later than registration deadline on Friday, October 15th. Lunch will be provided from noon to 1 PM for all Make a Difference Day Volunteers.
