City of Chico, Parks Division, PALS Volunteers

VERBENA FIELDS VOLUNTEER FRIDAYS 10 am - 1pm. Volunteers will meet with Ali Meders-Knight, local Mechoopda tribal member and practitioner of Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) to learn about and participate in indigenous land management practices. Masks and closed-toe shoes are required. Gloves and loppers are provided, but please bring them if possible. Rain cancels the event. Your RSVP acknowledges that you have read, understand and agree to the terms as described in the attached City of Chico release of liability.
