City of Chico, Parks Division, PALS Volunteers

 Chico Velo Trailworks will be starting a new rock armoring project on Annie B trail.  We will meet at the south entrance to Upper Bidwell park, at the end of centennial drive (past the 5 mile parking area), at 7:45am on Saturday the 2nd.  It is a short hike to the worksite.  The work will be more difficult than normal, as we will be moving and placing heavy rocks.  Please be prepared, but you will not be asked to do work you are not comfortable with.

Tools and basic PPE will be provided. Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring water and any essential items you need. This work can be strenuous, but its fun and rewarding. Your RSVP to this event acknowledges that you have read, understand and agree to the terms as described in the attached City of Chico release of liability. In the event the participant is under 18 years of age, please print & complete the attached volunteer application & return to Lindsay Amundson, Parks & Natural Resources Asst. Mgr.
