City of Chico, Parks Division, PALS Volunteers

VERBENA FIELDS VOLUNTEER FRIDAYS 9 am - noon. Volunteers will meet with local Mechoopda tribal member (s) and practitioners of Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) to learn about and participate in indigenous land management practices at Verbena Fields 1500 block of E. 1st Ave. . Closed-toe shoes are required. Tools and gloves are provided, but please bring them if possible. Rain cancels the event. Your RSVP acknowledges that you have read, understand and agree to the terms as described in the attached City of Chico release of liability.
