Chaperone APP Academy Physics Day Trip to Knott's Berry Farm

Volunteers are needed to chaperone an APP Academy Field Trip on Thursday, March 9 to Knott's Berry Farm for a Physics Day.
Chaperones will help teachers guide groups of 10 Pasadena High School App Academy students through the workshops, all of which involve physics and math exercises and lessons, including using an accelerator on a real roller coaster. Volunteers may ride the bus with the students or meet the group at Knott's.

Chaperones must be 18+ years old. A personal interest in physics and/or math is preferred, but not required.

Volunteers may ride the roller coasters with their student groups, if they so choose, and are welcome to stay in the park to enjoy the afternoon following their service.
Upon signing up to volunteer, you will be put directly in touch with APP Academy staff who will coordinate and share other important volunteer details directly with you.
