Pasadena Educational Foundation

Assist PEF and PUSD staff with this fantastic event that celebrates Pasadena public schools. Volunteers are needed for the entire event... from set up to wrap... to assist staff, students, and families with the behind-the-scenes work of the festivities!

Volunteers will help move tables, put up decor, traffic flow, and assist with general event set up and wrap. The ability to lift up to 20-25 lbs. is desirable, but volunteers can be accommodated with other tasks.

**Please remember this is a special event. We ask volunteers to dress in comfortable, business casual attire and/or wear all black. No shorts please.**

High school students who want to earn service hours are welcome, but PUSD students and/or PEF Youth Leaders are preferred.

WHERE:
Pasadena City Hall - Courtyard
100 Garfield Ave, Pasadena, CA 91101

CHECK IN:
All volunteers should check in at the front of City Hall on Garfield Ave and report to N.C. Inguanzo, PEF Volunteer Manager.

PARKING:
Please use street parking adhering to all local parking signs or park in the nearest lot. Volunteers who would like to be reimbursed for parking should provide us with a copy of their parking receipt.

RESTRICTIONS:
Volunteers must be 15+ years old to serve at this event.

DETAILS & INSTRUCTIONS:
- Arrive at the start time of your shift.
- All volunteers are strongly encouraged to wear a mask.
- Dress appropriately for a school setting, including movement. Comfortable shoes are suggested. Business casual is recommended.
- This event will take place outside in the courtyard of City Hall. Masks are not required at this time, but this is subject to change should Pasadena Public Health Department change its guidelines.

**If you cannot make your shift, please let us know right away. Never volunteer if you are not feeling well. Cancel your shift.**

**All volunteers help with the understanding that they do so at their own risk. Anytime a person leaves their home, they increase their chance of exposure to COVID-19.**
