Pasadena Educational Foundation

Huntington Hospital and PPHD are partnering to offer seasonal flu vaccine and COVID-19 vaccine at John Muir High School. This clinic will take place outdoors. Volunteers will assist by directing traffic, helping with registration, and observation for families as they make their way through through the clinic. Please check weather conditions prior to arriving onsite. NOTE: All volunteers must be fully immunized for COVID-19.

Here is the schedule:
3-4pm – Staff check-in and set-up
4-5:30pm – Registration and Vaccinations
5:30-6pm – Breakdown

Please arrive on time to get briefed on your duties and get specific on-site instructions.

Volunteers will have access to staff bathrooms and a designated break area.

WHERE:

PARKING:
Please park in the main lot or on nearby streets adhering to all parking signs.

REPORT TO:
The clinic will take place at the front of the school - outside of the main auditorium. It is easily seen from Lincoln Ave.

WHAT TO WEAR & BRING:
- Dress for comfort, mobility, and the weather.
- Wear closed-toe sneakers.
- Wear a hat to protect your face from the sun. Don't forget to put on sunscreen!
- Double mask yourself.
- Gloves and hand sanitizer will be provided.
- Water & snacks will be provided. Feel free to bring your own water as well.

SAFETY PROTOCOLS:

**All volunteers help with the understanding that they do so at their own risk. Anytime a person leaves their home, they increase their chance of exposure to COVID-19.**

We are asking for a specific number of volunteers. If you cannot make your shift, please let us know right away. Never volunteer if you are not feeling well. Cancel your shift.
