Pasadena Educational Foundation

Volunteers will assist PUSD, Pasadena Public Health, and LA County Health staff by directing traffic, checking vaccination forms, checking in and observing families as they make their way through this vaccination clinic.

Please arrive on time to get briefed on your duties and get specific on-site instructions. The clinic hours for families are 1 - 3:30 PM. Your arrival time allows for a volunteer briefing and your departure time allows for helping staff to wrap up the site.

Volunteers will have access to staff bathrooms and a designated break area.

PARKING:
Please park in the main parking lot off of Lincoln Ave or on neighboring streets adhering to all parking signs. Clinic area is marked in yellow on map attached.

REPORT TO:
Go to the back parking lot - the yellow area as marked on the attached map. Tell staff you are a PEF volunteer. Ask to be directed to Ria Apodaca, PUSD Health Services Director. She is your point person on site and will direct your volunteer service.

WHAT TO WEAR & BRING:
- Dress for comfort, mobility, and the weather.
- Wear closed-toe sneakers.
- Wear a hat to protect your face from the sun. Don't forget to put on sunscreen!
- Wear either a double-layered fabric or a disposable mask.
- Gloves and hand sanitizer will be provided.
- Water & snacks will be provided in a staff/volunteer break area. Feel free to bring your own water as well.

SAFETY PROTOCOLS:

**All volunteers help with the understanding that they do so at their own risk. Anytime a person leaves their home, they increase their chance of exposure to COVID-19.**

We are asking for a specific number of volunteers. If you cannot make your shift, please let us know right away. Never volunteer if you are not feeling well. Cancel your shift.
