Alverno Heights Academy - An Artic Underwater inspired Winter Formal

Hello Alverno Parents!

If you signed up to decorate, come join us on Saturday, from 9-12 pm in the Villa. If you are unable to due to the time change, please update Track it Forward. Thank you in advance!

The Winter Formal is a formal event for the 9-12th graders and is held in the Villa. The event is planned by ASU (students) with faculty/staff/parent volunteer support.
Volunteers: About 6 parents are needed to be in the parking lot and perimeter duty.
Another parent is needed to assist with managing and serving drinks in the kitchen. Please wear all black if you are helping in the kitchen.
Some parent help may be needed for decorations on Saturday from 9-12 pm.

Please note that if you sign up for security you should dress in warm and comfortable clothing as you will be outdoors monitoring the surrounding area (villa). Please bring a small flashlight. We appreciate all your support!

Donations: Water theme props to be dropped off in the school office on Friday. Ice and cookies, please drop off between 5-6 pm in the Villa's kitchen on Saturday or between 9 -12 pm on Saturday. Please label items "Winter Formal".

Parent service hours will be earned for every $25 in donations. Please email your receipts apaservicehours@alvernoheights.org for service hour credit. Thanks as always for your support!

Water theme props. Refer to the Winter Formal Flyer for colors (pastel pink, champagne, ivory). No blue nor green. Again, refer to the flyer for color scheme. Please drop off props on Friday in the school office, the day before the formal. Or bring by 9 am on Saturday to the Villa. Please provide a receipt or email a photo of the receipt to apaservicehours@alvernoheights.org. If you are loaning the prop(s), please include your name and student name/grade. Thank you!

** Please wear all black and comfortable shoes. Place beverages in ice coolers, serve and manage beverages as need be, refill water pitchers, refill snacks, remove trash, please remain in the kitchen area unless you are refilling water/snacks.

security - outdoor role
Security - this is an outdoor role. Please walk and monitor around the villa to be sure students remain in the villa during the dance. Please refrain from entering the villa or the terrace area. This role may require to walk students to their car (parent's car) after the event. Event ends at 11 pm. Dress warm and bring small flag light. Thank you!
