Cookie Painting Part 1

Our Culinary and Art Interns have teamed up to offer new spin on cookie decorating!!
I this first class we will be making cookies from scratch and glazing them so that they will become a delicious canvas for our art project the next day!
Platform for online class- Zoom (you need an account)
Service hours- 1 hour for attending and 1 hour for sending a photo of your finished dessert!

Materials to Prepare-
Mixing bowl
Mixing spoon
Measuring cups
Measuring spoons
Liquid measuring cup
cookie sheet
Parchment paper
Ingredients:
2 cups (4 sticks) cold butter, cubed
2 cups granulated sugar
2 eggs
3 teaspoons vanilla
3 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon kosher salt
6 cups all purpose flour
Icing/glaze:
4 (4oz/160g) egg whites
4 cups (16oz/460g) icing sugar, sifted
2 teaspoon lemon juice
