Planet New Canaan at May Fair

Planet New Canaan is a local community group bringing awareness to environmental issues facing New Canaan and the broader world.
Volunteers will be stationed at the composting area of the food court and up by the strawberry shortcake area. Volunteers will make sure the trash is put in the proper receptacles so the composting bins aren’t contaminated. The entire food court is using compostable supplies for the second year and this is a huge opportunity to reach a large portion of the town with this concept. We will also use this as an opportunity to promote the town food scrap program.
