Planet New Canaan is a local community group bringing awareness to environmental issues facing New Canaan and the broader world.

Planet New Canaan is excited to be prepping the space at the Transfer Station to help divert usable items from ending up in landfills. The Swap Shop will enable residents with a town permit to drop off or pick up usable items that are in good shape but no longer wanted for free. Residents can drop items like used but working bikes, chairs, holiday decor OR they can come looking to see what treasures they may find (dropping off is not required to shop).

Volunteers are needed to help paint the space. All equipment will be provided but come dressed to paint and get dirty.
