Cocktails for a Cure - Supporting the Lustgarten Foundation

Calling all SLOBs…Come support The Lustgarten Foundation, which funds the world’s preeminent pancreatic cancer researchers, at a fundraising event on Friday, November 5, from 7:00 - 9:30 pm.
The event will be held at the New Canaan Nature Center, and volunteers will help with a variety of tasks before, during and after the event.
Please wear your SLOBs t-shirts and wear a mask. To help protect the health and safety of attendees, the Lustgarten Foundation kindly asks only those who are fully vaccinated to attend.
4:30pm - 6:30pm
#1: Set-up
Tasks include placing tables under tent; setting up tent and sidewalls for band on patio; helping to string lights on tent and with decorating the room; registration table set-up; and coat rack monitoring
6:30pm - 8:30pm
#2: During event
Tasks include helping with room decoration; registration table set-up; coat rack monitoring; and cleaning, gathering plates, cups, etc., from tables
8:30pm - 10:00pm
#3: Break-down & Clean-up
Tasks include post event cleanup – garbage, recycling, tables, chairs, pack remaining food/bar, break down tent for the band
