New Covenant Center Sandwich Donations
Wednesday, October 28 2026
New Covenant Center helps individuals facing hardship. They are in need of sandwiches to distribute for lunch to those in need.
Directions for sandwich making are as follows:
Please use the large, long loaves of white bread. The long loaves such as Wonder bread will make 20 sandwiches. You may use the heels as well. Please make beef bologna and cheese, turkey and cheese OR ham and cheese sandwiches, tuna fish or peanut butter and jelly. NEW ... THEY DO NOT WANT LETTUCE ... Please DO NOT put lettuce on the sandwich. Do not put any condiments on them. Individually wrap each sandwich in a baggie and label what the sandwich is (ham and cheese, etc). Put all bagged sandwiches in a bag(s) - plastic or paper. Please deliver to 112 Douglas Rd before 10am (you may drop them off between 6am-10am) on 10/28. We will then deliver directly to New Covenant Center. If you deliver after 10am, we will already be gone as they need them for the lunch hour so please be on time delivering. I will have a cooler out on my porch. Please put your bagged sandwiches in the cooler (within a larger bag).
We will also be collecting other items as well. The items listed can be dropped off as well and we will deliver them also leaving at 10am. You will be given 1 credit hour for sandwich making or below donations and delivery to 112 Douglas.
Items needed:
Energy and power bars, fruit (oranges, pears, apples), individual yogurts, bottled water, gatorade bottles, individual cracker and cheese packs, individual cookie, snack packs or chip packs, goldfish, breakfast bars, welch's fruit snacks
