VFW | Wreath Laying at Lakeview Cemetery

On November 28, we will honor the Veterans in our community by placing wreaths on their graves at Lakeview Cemetery.
Please arrive by 7:45 AM. Instructions will begin promptly at 8:00 AM.
We will meet in the lower Veterans’ section (Section M), located just to the right after entering from Main Street and crossing the bridge. The morning will begin with remarks from VFW Post 653 Commander Mike McGlinn, followed by instructions on how to properly and respectfully place the wreaths. Each team will also receive section maps and lists of Veterans.
Parking: Please enter through the Main Entrance on Main Street. After crossing the bridge, take the first left and park in the lot by the cemetery office. Please do not park on any grass or disturb the areas surrounding the gravestones.
SLOBS will have 3–4 teams with at least 4 volunteers per team.
