Previous | NextFood Rescue volunteers are needed to transfer excess food from local businesses and deliver it to local social service agencies serving the food insecure. It can be a PARENT/SON team or an individual Parent or son- let us know so the proper people can get the SLOBS credit. The food rescue can be any time this week - please list your name on the month you are volunteering. To volunteer and for hours to be verified: - Sign up on Track It Forward, in the month you are volunteering. - Create a login at the Food Rescue US website at https://foodrescue.us/ - Claim/sign up for any food rescue opportunity this month. - Track your time from when you arrive at the food donor to when you complete the food drop off at the social service agency - Submit a photo from the food drop off, with your name(s) and volunteer time to abby[email protected] so hours can be verified! - It is helpful to send the screen grab of the FoodRescue website for the rescue you have selected. please contact Abby Dunkin with any questions abb[email protected]
