S.T.A.R. Juneteenth Celebration

SLOBS and parents are needed to assist with set-up and parking for S.T.A.R.'s "Hearts of Freedom" Juneteenth Celebration at Waveny Park on Friday, June 19th. Set-up will run from 10:00-1:00, and there are two shifts for parking (from 3:00-5:00 and from 5:00-7:00). The event runs from 3:00-7:00 p.m. (more information available on S.T.A.R.'s website: https://www.star-ct.org/juneteenth).
S.T.A.R. anticipates over 550 attendees from New Canaan and surrounding communities, so having enthusiastic, reliable volunteers to help with set-up and parking will make an enormous difference.
