Family & Children's Agency Hygiene Products Donation Drive
Saturday, March 14 2026
The ASPIRE after school program which supports middle school and high school youth from Norwalk Public Schools is an academic program to help students achieve higher grades as well as help them work on social emotional building of confidence, trust and self-esteem. They run hygiene workshops and teach these teenagers the importance of self-care and proper hygiene especially as they become teenagers and young adults. The program runs solely on private foundation funds so they don’t always have the funds to purchase the items to give to the students so they can take home and use them daily at their homes. Teenagers need to understand how their bodies change as they hit puberty and teen years and the importance of keeping teeth, hair and body clean and keeping their appearance up for both physical and mental health.
They are looking for donations of:
tooth brushes
toothpaste,
tooth floss,
deodorants,
body washes,
shampoos,
facial wash
We will be collecting donations at the SLOBS March meeting on the 14th.
