Filling in the Blanks Mobile Pantry Valentine’s Hot Chocolate Kit Assembly & Donation

Thursday, February 12 2026

Want to help spread a little warmth and love this Valentine’s Day?

SLOBs and parents are invited to help create Valentine’s Hot Chocolate Kits for Filling in the Blanks to be shared families at their February Mobile Pantries.

These small treats will be included with pantry distributions as a cheerful surprise for kids and families—something cozy, fun, and unexpected to brighten their day.

Each “kit” should include the following in a zip-top plastic baggie:
 2 packets of hot chocolate (with or without marshmallows)
 3 Hershey’s Kisses
Please note: All items must be nut-free!
(See photo for example)

Hot Chocolate Kits should be assembled and delivered on February 12th to 111 Nursery Road.
If you would like to participate but cannot make the drop off date, please contact Hannah to coordinate an alternate drop off time (choisRus04@gmail.com).

1 hour credit will be given for each participant contributing 15 kits (30 hot chocolate packets and 45 Kisses total). Each participant must sign up on TrackitForward and include name with delivery for credit.

Thank you for helping us spread warmth, smiles, and love throughout the Filling in the Blanks community this February.

About Filling in the Blanks:
Filling in the Blanks fights childhood hunger by providing 10,000 children in need with meals on the weekends. In October 2023, they launched the mobile food pantry, which now serves more than 600 families each month in the Norwalk, Stamford and Bridgeport communities with fresh food from their refrigerated truck. In February, Filling in the Blanks would like to add these hot chocolate kits as a fun Valentine’s Day addition.

Please contact Hannah Choi at choisrus04@gmail.com or Eileen Hojnacki at eileenspillane@gmail.com with any questions.
