Voices Center for Resilience

Voices Center for Resilience (VOICES) are looking for SLOBS volunteers to assemble preparedness backpacks/kits. The backpacks include information on preparedness, emergency contact forms, a water resist document pouch, whistle, light stick, mini flashlight, emergency blanket, emergency poncho, basic toiletries and other items needed in the event of an emergency.
As background, September is designated as National Preparedness Month. The Pack for Preparedness Project is a continuation of VOICES National Day of Service Project that was held in NYC in September.
The project will be held at the VOICES office, located at 80 Main Street, New Canaan (opposite the Town Hall)
